The Spirituality of a Young Gifted Artist, Akiane

“I define spirituality as a search for love, beauty, happiness and wisdom. Spirituality is a journey that we never finish.” ~Akiane Kramarik, 16 Year-old, Artist, Poet, Mystic

You may have seen Akiane and her incredible art work before when she has appeared on various TV shows. Her talent, which began at a very young age, is quite amazing and inspirational. She considers her talent to be directed by God. Obviously her inspiration not only in her art but in her writings has a strong spiritual essence and message. Her paintings evoke an energy that is pure and loving.

And by the way, I added the word Mystic to her description in the quote above, because from what I have read and heard about Akiane, I would consider her a mystic as she is a visionary and has a connection to the spiritual world.

See what you think after reading her words and seeing her artwork and video. I think you may agree.

(and my thanks to Nancy at Life In the Second Half and her blog article on Special Children for again bringing Akiane to my attention.)

a Response to Bloggers’ questions regarding alternative lifestyles.

I define spirituality as a search for love, beauty, happiness and wisdom. Spirituality is a journey that we never finish. It has nothing to do with our levels of development, achievement, awareness or intention.

Both a two year-old and a centenarian might not be wise, happy or altruistic yet highly spiritual. Young children might not be fully aware how spiritual they are, however, without childlike sincerity and purity we cannot even imagine certain touch of holiness.

Hitler, too, tried to create his own version of perfect, healthy and stable society. For many he was an epitome of farsightedness and spirituality. The Pope even blessed Hitler’s army. Was Hitler spiritual? Yes. In his own diabolic and hideous way.

How do we weigh levels of spirituality? Are alternative lifestyles less spiritual than traditional ones? Some people abstain from all intimate relationships, because they believe they have to devote their time to love all mankind in a childlike genuineness. Others form monogamous heterosexual relationships. While others create bonds outside all traditional rules.

From the standpoint of eternity each level of maturity is relative. We are all spiritual, and we are all different. Neither higher, nor lower. Neither farther, nor closer. Neither deeper, nor more shallow. Just uniquely different. Looking at a blossom from a different direction one will see it completely foreign, special, beautiful or revolting depending on where we stand. If the close-up is of a spider attached to the stem, then for those who don’t like spiders the sight will look distasteful. If the image is of a butterfly on a petal the view may appear peaceful to us, but not for a bird hungrily watching the scene.

From the standpoint of our present world we all assign our measurements of preference. Given the choice we will join families and groups based on our interests. We attract those with similar values and ideals. People crave belonging. So whether it is a national, racial, religious, political, educational, vocational or biological identification we try to connect to something familiar and within our comfort zone.

Clear messages of diverse feelings experienced by other people were part of my visionary and extrasensory perception since I was five years of age. I do not condemn any personal choices for intimate relationships. Love is love. I detest only the violence and trauma that any self-centered conduct can cause to others.

Angelic Wisdom

"The more you increase your communication, the more present
you will know the pleasures of Earth." –The grand spirit, Dr. Peebles

Spirit Guide, Dr. James Martin Peebles had this to say about his Second Principle, Increased Communication with all of life everywhere, and with respect, in my book, Three Principles of Angelic Wisdom: The Spiritual Psychology of the Grand Spirit, Dr. Peebles by Linda Pendleton

Excerpt from CHAPTER SIX:
THE SECOND PRINCIPLE, INCREASED COMMUNICATION

Now, within this principle, we speak of increased communication with all of life everywhere. Life is made up of the human, and all the creatures who roam the earth. That includes the birds who sing for you and nibble at your garden; the four-legged animals who you have domesticated, and the ones who roam wild; the insects that you swat away as they buzz around your head; the bountiful vegetation which covers the land; and the many life forms who live in community with you on Planet Earth; and, it includes the Planet Earth, herself. She is alive and vital. All of it deserves respect.

Have you talked to a tree recently and told him how startling and impressive his brightly colored leaves are? Have you told the beautiful wild daisy in the field how beautiful she is? Have you spoken to the fish who swims in the water and told him how sorry you are that you have allowed his fresh water to become polluted? Have you asked the ants who have invaded your kitchen to find their way to the outdoors? Have you blessed the rich soil which allows your garden to produce food for you? Have you smiled at the stranger who passes you on the sidewalk?

Those are a few examples of how you can increase your communication with life.

Respect comes from the heart as does love. With loving allowance for all things to be, in their own time and place, and increasing your communication with respect for all life everywhere, you have incorporated self-responsibility. If you take personal responsibility for your place upon the planet, and understand that you are an integral part of the planet, then how can you not love and respect all of life everywhere and in every form?

That brings us back to the God-essence. If all is of God, including yourself, then communication with God is only natural. And so is communication with one another, each a part of God–and again, a spiritual being. And we, on this side of the veil, are spiritual beings. It is all one gigantic world, and only endures an illusion of separation–separation from God, or man, or spirit. So why would one not expect communication to take place with all within that gigantic world?

Many of us on this side of the veil are eagerly awaiting your communication. We often come to you in your dreams, and we also come to you when you ask for guidance or support in your prayers, meditations or waking state.

When you reach out your hand, we take it in ours and dance the dance of angels. We love to give you an echo, because in that echo you can hear yourselves, you can be energized, and moved in your hearts and souls. It is at that moment that the dance of love begins and within that dance you have declared permission to shout your truths and sing out your songs.

Soul Pictures

A Russian Professor of Physics at St. Petersburg State Technical University, Konstantin Korotkov has used rigorous scientific methods and research to come to new discoveries about the spirit or soul.

He is author of numerous professional papers and books and has given seminars, workshops both nationally and internationally. He is associate editor of the journal Consciousness and Physical Reality, published both in Russian and English.

He holds at least 12 patents on biophysics inventions. His technology includes the Gas Discharge Visualization technique (GDV), which is a breakthrough beyond Kirlian photography for direct, real-time viewing of the human aura. This fairly new technology allows one to capture by a special camera the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy emanating to and from an individual, plants, liquids, inanimate objects and translate this into a computerized model. This allows the researcher and client to see imbalances that may be influencing an individual’s well-being greatly facilitating the diagnosis of the cause of any existing imbalances showing the area of the body and the organ systems involved.

The Russian Ministry of Health accepts the GDV technique as Medical technology and hundreds of medical doctors, practitioners and researchers benefit from using this technology worldwide.
One of the greatest benefits of GDV is measurements of a variety of treatments for such conditions as cancer to determine which is the most appropriate for the patient. Its use for the diagnosis and treatment of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual conditions is invaluable in medicine, psychology, biophysics, genetics, sound therapy, forensic science, agriculture, ecology and other areas.

I heard a report last night on Coast to Coast AM Radio by George Noory that the GDV machine used by Dr. Korotkov is now able to record the spirit or soul leaving the physical body at death. The doctor referred to it as a transition that could be observed with his special camera.

Many intuitive people are able to observe the aura and soul energy without a camera.

This also reminds me of what Dr. James Martin Peebles wrote in his 1903 book, What is Spiritualism?... "...to show that this conception of the nature and power of thought is no empty flight of the imagination, it will only be necessary to draw attention to the photographic experiments conducted by the late Dr. Baraduc, the eminent nerve specialist, of Paris. If thoughts are things, he considered it should be possible to photograph them. He accordingly prepared a special apparatus, with an exceptionally sensitive plate attached, and under the most conclusive conditions obtained a series of strikingly distinct and, in some cases, most beautiful pictures of these thought forces and emotions. These pictorial wonders were reproduced in the Illustrated London News, and their publication caused a great sensation in the scientific circles of Europe. One of these photographs represents a column of prayer. By arrangement with half a dozen devout persons, a prayer meeting was held in an apartment at the top of the Eiffel Tower. The special camera was arranged in position, and at a given moment Dr. Baraduc took the picture. The result was a very clear and impressive demonstration of the thoughts and aspirations of these intensely earnest souls rising like a column of incense as though ascending direct to the very throne of God."

"He has also taken good thoughts and bad thoughts of certain individuals, placid thoughts and stormy thoughts, and the pictures they produce are most remarkable–some beautiful in their sweet and tranquilizing aspect, whilst others resemble a veritable mental typhoon, according to the humor of the subject at the time the photo was taken."

"Dr. Baraduc further believed that psychic powers could be applied to the treatment of diseases, and in this connection the pictures representing the forms of benedictions and of a flow of curative force at Lourdes during the performance of a 'miracle' are certainly very suggestive. The wonderful cures wrought at Lourdes year after year have hitherto been regarded by the majority of people either as frauds or purely imaginary occurrences, but it is now known that they are well based scientifically and are too real to be any longer disputed. They are, apparently, due to that Spiritual 'gift of healing,' of which [Saint] Paul writes, and the potential curative agency is, seemingly, a mysterious psychic emanation which is sufficiently palpable to impress a sensitive plate."

"'I am not a Spiritualist, nor a doctrinaire,' says Dr. Baraduc, 'but speak from experience, and I declare I have found forces surrounding man which have been registered on photographic plates. Man is surrounded by an atmosphere of personal ether. Every human being has an impalpable double, which reproduces his form and which allows us to explain ghost stories and the phenomena of double sight. Call it soul, if you like, or astral body. I have photographed this ether double eighty hours after death. When my wife died I photographed a nebulous globe which escaped from her like a soul. You see, there are forces in this world and forces in the other world. When, in the name of truth, spiritual scientists unite with material scientists, we will arrive at a knowledge of the synthesis of the forces which regulate our life and our immortality, for man does not belong to this planet only, but to the starry spaces in which his thoughts revolve.'"

It seems that we are now moving ever closer to that union between spiritual and material science as it fashions a more realistic, holistic understanding of the forces that shape this universe. The pity is that it has taken more than a hundred years to reach anything approaching that level of understanding. The recent movements in both medicine and physics are a very hopeful sign that the gap is closing steadily and that many of us can now have the expectation that during our own lifetimes we shall witness a totally new awareness, within the scientific community, that the body, mind and soul are one.

New Ebook, How Thin the Veil! 150 Years of Spiritualism by Linda Pendleton

Linda Pendleton's new  E-book,
How Thin the Veil! 150 Years of Spiritualism NDEe, Coincidences, Lincoln, Past Lives, Mediums, Spirit

Many of us are still searching for answers about life: Who are we? Why are we here? What happens when we leave here? Will we see our loved ones again? And for some, the questions may be broader such as: Have I been here before? Will I return at some future point? Why did I come back?

In about 1850, Spiritualism reached a high interest and continued for a number of years, not only in America, but world-wide. The poets, philosophers, artists, politicians of the time, along with the ordinary man and woman, in surprising numbers came to accept spirit communication as a comforting and fulfilling life experience.
Within my new ebook, How Thin The Veil! 150 Years of Spiritualism, you will read about the early days of Spiritualism and how it became a new era that brought with it a profound understanding of human destiny after death, and of the relationship between heaven and earth.

Many historical figures considered themselves Spiritualist, some more openly than others. One of our greatest Presidents, Abraham Lincoln communicated with spirit on the Other Side through mediums and referred to spirit as “our friends from the upper country.” It has often been said his writings and speeches were inspired by spirit, especially his Emancipation Proclamation.

The veil between worlds continues to grow thinner, communication is increasing, and part of the increase in communication may be a result of fear being released, and openness prevailing. Curiosity, yes, but probably more than that when intuition is allowed to have a role in everyday life.

Read about Abraham Lincoln in celebration of his February Bicentennial Birthday!

“I’ve always had a fascination with Abraham Lincoln and I very much enjoyed doing more research on him, discovering more about who he was, enjoying his wit and humor, learning more about what he believed, along with all he gave this country during his leadership, and the legacy he left.” ~Linda Pendleton

"Linda writes with a pure intent to inspire others through sharing what spirit inspires through her. That is the best kind of writing because it is so authentic." ~Athena Demetrios, Medium and Trance-Channel

“Linda’s really done her research. How Thin the Veil! is a very interesting study on the history of Spiritualism, and I feel I learned a great deal. This research shows the acceptance and growth, the intolerance and fear, of the many facets of Spiritualism throughout history and today. This book shows how some people time and time again will not be stopped on their search for Spirituality, and how this has affected all aspects of societies, including our American politics. The Spiritual journey is as unique and diverse as each and every one of us, and no matter how different, when all is said and done, we are truly all connected. A fascinating read.” ~Anne Boss, California
