Dr. James Martin Peebles,. Leading Spiritualist of the 19th Century

 

March 23, 1822 to March 23, 2016, 194 years. 

Dr. James Martin Peebles was born in Vermont on this day in 1822. And we are lucky to have his wit and wisdom still with us from his home on the Other Side. Shortly after his death on February 15, 1922, on March 23rd a posthumous centennial birthday banquet was held in his honor in Los Angeles (where he had made his home for several years) by the California Centenarian Club that he had founded. Hundreds attended the celebration and Dr. Peebles communicated with the gathering through a medium.
