Power of Communication and Sharing

"If something comes to life in others because of you,
then you have made an approach to immortality."
~Norman Cousins (1912-1990)

We never know when something you say to another may be life changing words or may give a person a new perspective, even after 50 years. And when that happens, it makes the heart feel warm and joyous.

I know.

I don't know if I've ever changed someone's life with a word or two but I know it happens. My own life was changed by the words of another.

I have been changed by the words of others. Not sure about my own though.

It is amazing to recognize the ways we are blessed by what is said here and there, by people who leave bits of themselves in books, or art. By children. It is one thing to see what we are given, another to see how we give. The latter being a far more rare and predious sip.

It is so very true, we never really know the impact we will have all the more reason that we must be aware of our thoughts and actions for they are more powerful than we know.

Ellen, I bet you have changed someone's life in some way. I even think it happens and we may not even know it.

Lover of Life, You too, have changed others, and are doing it with your words in your blog. Often questioning and inspirational.

Chrissy, thanks for your comments.

Randy, it is so good to see how we might touch someone with our words, and probably when we are tocuhed we don't often enough share that with the person who touched us. Thanks for the thoughts.

Mark, you are so right, as we need to be aware what our words and thoughts can do as they are powerful. Thanks for sharing.
